Garmin has added two outside services, Class A and Coflyt, to the companies that can receive aircraft flight logs automatically from its avionics, bringing the total to 12 integrations.
Garmin says logs reach flyGarmin.com automatically through the GDL 60 datalink with PlaneSync. They can also come from compatible avionics, or through the Flight Stream 510 wireless gateway, which passes them to the Garmin Pilot app for upload. The automatic route carries conditions: an active PlaneSync plan is required for uploads, the datalink needs LTE or Wi-Fi connectivity, and uploads happen on the ground only. Garmin lists no price for the plan.
Owners opt in through the flyGarmin.com portal, and every current and future log for the chosen aircraft then goes to the providers they select. Access to future logs can be changed at any time. Depending on equipment, a log can carry GPS track, attitude, engine data, total time, departure time and carbon monoxide readings.
The two newcomers cover different ground. Class A is an aviation insurance carrier that uses real flight data for underwriting and personalized coverage. Garmin says Class A is using the shared logs to launch a FOQA/FDM capability inside its Virtual Flight Department, which offers owners resources typically available only to large professional flight departments. Coflyt is a cloud platform that pulls inspection and maintenance tracking, AD compliance, squawk sheets, scheduling, utilization and payments into one system, with flight data added to the mix.
The partner list has grown quickly. When Garmin first announced flight log sharing with outside analysis services in July 2025, it named four services, FlySto, Crewchief Systems, Savvy Aviation and Navi, with integrations expected from August 2025. Twelve integrations about 15 months later is three times that first roster. Six others, Brazos Safety Systems, Jet-Care, Pilotbase, TBX, PLANELOGIX and AircraftMX, make up the rest of the 12; Garmin does not say when each joined.
Some of the partner services come with an incentive: in July 2025 Garmin said flyGarmin.com users who connect their accounts get new offerings from Savvy Aviation and Crewchief Systems at no additional cost. Compatible avionics are listed on Garmin's FlightLogs page.
