Sucker Punch Productions announced Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition for PS5, set to arrive October 1 with two new content additions: a narrative expansion and a roguelike combat mode, both bundled alongside the base game and its online co-op mode.
Sucker Punch's Complete Edition announcement sets a $69.99 USD price for new buyers, with a $14.99 USD upgrade available for existing owners. The bundle centers on two new additions: Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara, a narrative expansion that alternates between the present day and flashbacks to protagonist Atsu's time on the mainland, and Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted, a single-player roguelike in which players accept bounties to start runs, earn perks by defeating enemies, and unlock additional playable characters. Atsu is equipped with dual katana, Oyuki with kusarigama, and Nagato with a yari.
Echoes of Sekigahara introduces Nagato, a figure from Atsu's past who arrives in Ezo. Players explore a valley previously belonging to The Snake's gang, the Vipers, and witness Atsu's involvement in the Battle of Sekigahara. New enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, and dyes are included alongside the story content.
The Complete Edition also includes Ghost of Yōtei Legends, the four-player online co-op mode that supports up to four players and culminates in a Raid, along with all content from the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Charm of Hokkyokusei. Sucker Punch confirmed a free October 1 patch will reach all current owners regardless of purchase, delivering Beauty of Yōtei mode, a screensaver-style view of Ezo's environments, new photo mode stamps, new Watanabe Mode tracks, an armor appearance and stats split option, and a high contrast accessibility setting.
The release falls just ahead of Ghost of Yōtei's first anniversary. Pre-ordering either the Complete Edition or the upgrade by September 30 unlocks the Sakai Armor on October 1, a callback to Jin's family armor from Ghost of Tsushima.
