Agentforce Help Agent Deploys in Minutes and Charges Only for Resolutions

Agentforce Help Agent, the customer-service bot Salesforce introduced on June 25, 2026, lands its sharpest news in the pricing rather than the product: it bills per resolution. A company pays only when the agent settles a customer issue autonomously from start to finish, and if the customer gives negative feedback or asks for a person, there is no charge and the agent hands full context to a human. Salesforce says both its Data 360 and Agentforce services run unmetered during the interaction, which ties the cost to outcomes, not to volume of use.

That pricing sits on top of a product designed to remove the setup work that has made service agents hard to stand up. Salesforce launched the underlying Agentforce platform less than two years ago, and its own framing is blunt about the friction since: building a working agent meant connecting your own knowledge, defining your own actions, and wiring each channel by hand. Help Agent, built on the Agentforce 360 Platform, ships that work pre-done. It grounds itself automatically on a company's Salesforce Knowledge, arrives with a library of prepackaged actions to manage cases, schedule appointments, and update orders, and turns on across voice, web, portal, and messaging from a single screen, with a preview pane to test responses before going live.

Salesforce points to its own help.salesforce.com site as proof, saying Agentforce there handled 4.3 million inquiries and resolved 70 percent of them. That is the company measuring its own deployment rather than an audited result, and the number rests entirely on how a resolution is defined. Salesforce names messy data as the single biggest reason agents fail, which is a fair diagnosis, though automatic grounding on Salesforce Knowledge only helps customers whose knowledge base is already in good shape. Teams can supplement it by dragging in extra files or pointing Help Agent at a web URL to crawl.

Help Agent and a reworked Agentforce Customer Service Portal reach general availability in July 2026, alongside a separate agreement for Salesforce to acquire the service-agent platform Fin. Pay-per-resolution is a genuinely aggressive move, because it forces Salesforce to stand behind its own accuracy claims in a way seat-based pricing never does. It also puts the definition of a resolution at the center of the contract. An agent that closes a ticket the customer quietly reopens a day later still counts as a win under a naive reading, so the number that will matter is not how many issues Help Agent resolves but how many stay resolved.
