Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge went on sale today at $2,099, exclusively on Samsung.com, per Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge is the lightest model in the Galaxy Book6 family at 3.42 pounds and 0.48 inches thin.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite AI PC platform. Qualcomm specifies an 18-core CPU design with 12 Prime cores and 6 Performance cores running up to 5 GHz, alongside an Adreno X2-90 GPU. Samsung claims up to 80 TOPS of on-device AI performance. The 16 GB of LPDDR5x memory and 1 TB of eUFS storage are soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded.

The display is a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel running at up to 120 Hz with an adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass DX. Connectivity on the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge covers two USB 4.0 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Type-A port, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a microSD slot, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, per Qualcomm's X2 Elite platform specification. The 61.8 Wh battery is rated for up to 22 hours of local video playback; a bundled 65W adapter reaches 40 percent charge in 30 minutes.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge slots above the $1,800 Galaxy Book6 Pro and below the $2,900 Galaxy Book6 Ultra. Samsung is selling the Edge exclusively on its own storefront at launch, which limits channel availability while letting Samsung control the purchase experience and bundle ecosystem offers.

Those ecosystem features anchor the premium pricing. Storage Share lets users access files across Galaxy phones, tablets, and the laptop without cables. Multi Control supports copy-paste and drag-and-drop between connected Galaxy devices on the same network. Second Screen turns a Galaxy Tab into a portable extended display. The pitch targets buyers already inside the Samsung hardware family, where the $2,099 makes more sense as a platform investment than as a standalone laptop choice.
