Meta introduced Meta One, a subscription program that layers paid AI usage and professional tools on top of Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI. The company said the core experience across those apps and Meta AI stays free, framing the new plans as an upgrade path for heavier AI use and account management rather than a paywall on existing features. More than 50 Meta One features have already shipped, and the company counts over 15 million subscriptions and trials to date.
Meta One's single-app plans start at $2.99 a month: WhatsApp Plus costs $2.99, while Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus each cost $3.99, unlocking per-app extras such as custom fonts, super reactions, and pinned chats. Two bundle tiers target individuals and AI-heavy users. Core, at $7.99 a month, adds more image and video generation through Meta AI's Muse models plus more frequent use of tools like Instagram's Restyle filter. Premium, at $19.99 a month, expands that same AI headroom further while folding in the individual app plans.
Meta One's four business and creator bundle tiers scale from account management up to enterprise-grade tooling. Essential starts at $14.99 a month with a verified badge, impersonation protection, and expanded access to Meta Business Agent for round-the-clock WhatsApp customer replies. Advanced starts at $49.99 a month, adding posts scheduled up to 30 days out, exportable analytics, and shared account access for team members. Expert and Max sit at the top of the lineup, starting at $149 and $499 a month respectively; Meta positions both for teams managing accounts at scale, with its highest tier of feature access and the largest Meta Business Agent response capacity in the plan.
Meta said Meta One's plans, features, and pricing can vary by region, app, and account, and that the rollout is gradual rather than immediate everywhere. Edits Plus, a paid tier for Meta's video-editing app that would add cloud storage and an AI editing assistant, along with support for the company's AI glasses lineup, are both still planned additions rather than features included in this rollout.
