Dead by Daylight added a NieR:Automata cosmetic collection on October 6, bringing 2B, A2 and Emil into the horror game's catalog of outfits. The headline names three characters, but none of them arrives as a new playable character. Each is a skin laid over a figure already in the game.
The Survivor half of the set reskins two existing characters. 2B becomes a Legendary Outfit for Feng Min, and A2 a Legendary Outfit for Yui Kimura, per the game's team. Each one ships with a new model plus its own music, voice lines, HUD icons and menu idle animations, so the outfit changes how the character sounds and idles in the menus as well as how it looks in a trial.
On the Killer side, Dead by Daylight gives The Legion a Very Rare Outfit inspired by Emil, with his unsettling grin carried into the Trials. The collection also includes a special appearance by Pod 042 and two Legendary portraits of 2B and A2 for players who want to display the characters in the fog. How that appearance works in a match is not described.
The rarity labels carry the most useful signal in the set. Dead by Daylight tags the two Survivor outfits Legendary and the Emil outfit Very Rare, and it lists the music, voice lines and idle animations only for the Survivor pair. That points to 2B and A2 as the headline pieces, with Emil as a lighter add-on for people who play The Legion.
The announcement gives no prices and does not say whether the items sell separately. It describes only cosmetic items and lists no gameplay changes, so the collection is a pure appearance purchase for anyone who regularly plays Feng Min, Yui Kimura or The Legion.
