Warhammer Survivors launches on November 10 at $7.99, and PlayStation 5 owners can pre-order it today. Other platforms follow a staggered schedule, so one launch day reaches buyers by different routes.
Auroch Digital, the Bristol studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, is building Warhammer Survivors with Warhammer and with poncle, the developer of Vampire Survivors. The studio lists the November 10 date for PC through Steam and GOG, Switch 1 and 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android. The game is a roguelite in which one champion holds out against endless swarms, and the roster draws on both the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar universes. Sternguard Veteran, Malum Caedo and Neave Blacktalon are among the named characters.
Pre-orders are live on PS5 now, and Switch 1 and 2 pre-orders open from October 6 in select territories. Warhammer Survivors costs £6.39, $7.99 or €7.49, and Auroch says the exact figure may shift slightly by platform and region. Console pre-orders carry a discount on select platforms, and the studio promises Steam buyers 10% off from the first week of release.
A new demo is playable already. Auroch says it adds two champions, the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Ravenya, along with new weapons and abilities. Progress from the earlier demo does not carry over to it, and demo progress will not transfer to the full game either. For a $7.99 game, a try-before-you-buy build lowers the stakes of an early pre-order.
Xbox players wait longest. Pre-orders there open on October 27, two weeks before Warhammer Survivors ships.
