Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Capcom's turn-based monster-raising RPG, will reach Xbox on PC on November 18, 2026, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. Players who already own it on Xbox Series X|S get the Windows version without paying again.

The mechanics of that promise matter more than the date. Capcom says one purchase of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection covers Xbox Series X|S, Windows 11 PCs and compatible handhelds, and that save data, add-on content and achievements follow the player between them. A player midway through the campaign on a console can pick it up at a desk or on a handheld without starting over. The Xbox store listing shown alongside the announcement prices the game at $69.99.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection follows twin Rathalos, born into a war between the kingdoms of Azuria and Vermeil. Capcom describes a battle system that keeps evolving and a Habitat Restoration feature that lets players release monsters back into the wild and raise their Ecosystem rank. Anyone who has cleared the story can load that save after updating and face a harder version of the final boss. Beating it brings Royal variants of most monsters into the world map, along with Royal Invasive Monsters and Royal Calamitous Elder Dragons.

The timing lines up with the series' tenth anniversary on October 8. To mark it, Capcom is putting the two earlier games, Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, into Xbox Free Play Days from October 22 through October 25. Each is a three-hour timed trial, and no Game Pass membership is needed. Capcom also lists a free trial of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection whose progress transfers to the full version.

The side story Rudy, which follows the origins of the Royal Palico who travels with the protagonist, is already out. The Rudy content ships inside the Deluxe Edition, the Premium Deluxe Edition and the Deluxe Kit, so owners of those editions get it free. Anyone buying fresh on PC will find the extra campaign is the main reason to look at those editions.
