Razer Base Station V3 Chroma is a smart RGB gaming headset stand with dual USB 3.1 ports that loads a custom Synapse profile the moment a compatible headset leaves the hook, per Razer.

The detection trick is the product. Seamless Headset Detection on Razer Base Station V3 Chroma works with any headset that talks to Razer Synapse. Lift the headset and a profile can switch Chroma RGB lighting, audio and mic inputs, launch a game, fire global shortcuts, and run macros.

You put the headset back and the stand reverts to the default, with no extra clicks. Razer describes a gaming profile that routes audio to the headset and lights the desk, a streaming profile that starts broadcast software and on-air lighting, and a movie-night profile that dims the setup.

Razer Base Station V3 Chroma also acts as a small hub. Those USB ports take headset dongles and other devices. Software-based virtual 7.1 surround is offered for analog headsets. A 12-zone vertical RGB strip runs 16.8 million colors and syncs with other Razer Chroma peripherals, more than 300 games, and more than 500 devices from over 50 partners, Razer says. The V3 follows recent Chroma hardware such as the Razer Soma Chroma and the Razer Seiren V3 Chroma.

The ledge is curved and rubberized so the headband and pads keep their shape. A felt anti-slip base is meant to hold the stand on the desk. Razer frames the accessory as a command center that keeps gear protected and the desk organized rather than as a silent hook.

Razer has not given Razer Base Station V3 Chroma a price. Detailed measurements are also absent, so the detection behavior, USB ports, and Chroma strip are the claims on the record for now.
