Hostinger launched built-in subscription billing for Hostinger Horizons, its AI-powered app-building platform, adding recurring payments, subscriber management, and access controls directly to projects without requiring third-party billing integrations.
Per Hostinger, Hostinger Horizons connects the new feature to Stripe and supports major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, with a 0% platform fee on subscription revenue beyond Stripe's standard processing costs. Developers can prompt Horizons to generate subscription tiers, checkout flows, customer account portals, and access control logic automatically. The company says the new capability targets six common patterns: SaaS tools charged per seat or usage tier, premium content platforms with gated archives, membership communities, creator subscription programs, gated learning courses, and recurring reporting or analytics services.
The practical implication is that Hostinger Horizons moves further from "AI website builder" territory and closer to a full-stack application platform. Previously, a developer building a SaaS tool on Horizons still needed to wire up Stripe subscriptions, a subscriber dashboard, and billing lifecycle emails separately. Those components are now code-generated alongside the application from a single prompt. The 0% platform fee is a meaningful differentiator against competitors like Bubble or Webflow that take a percentage of revenue generated on their platforms.
Hostinger has been adding backend primitives to Horizons steadily since the platform's 2025 launch, including an integrated ecommerce layer and built-in AI agents. The subscription feature extends that layering and positions Hostinger Horizons as a direct challenger to no-code/low-code platforms that have historically led on monetization tooling. For most builders, the missing piece was revenue infrastructure, not more AI generation options.
