Sony revealed pricing and an August 19 pre-order date for its Marvel's Wolverine limited-edition PS5 console bundle, pairing a redesigned PS5 Digital Edition with a matching DualSense controller and a code for Insomniac Games' upcoming title.

Sony detailed the Marvel's Wolverine bundle's design in a post crediting Scottish comic artist Jock, who worked on the game's key art, with the claw-slashed look carried across the console and controller. The PS5 Digital Edition wraps in a bold yellow finish with exposed claw marks patterned after Wolverine's Adamantium claws and the Battle Reborn suit from Insomniac's story, and a lifted side panel reveals similar detailing underneath. The matching DualSense Wireless Controller carries the same slashed motif and also ships as a standalone accessory.

"I wanted to show Wolverine at his fiercest," said Jock, whose hand-drawn illustration style shaped the Marvel's Wolverine hardware. Marcus Smith of Insomniac Games said Jock's art captures "the kinetic and violent nature" of a character who fights primarily with unbreakable Adamantium claws.

A second option, the PS5 Pro Adamantium Limited Edition for Marvel's Wolverine, swaps the yellow finish for a metallic look built around the adamantium bonded to Logan's skeleton, paired with a matching DualSense controller in the same finish. Existing PS5 and PS5 Pro owners can buy either set of console covers on its own, without the full bundle.

Sony set the PS5 Digital Edition bundle at $649.99, the standalone DualSense controllers at $84.99 each, and the console covers at $74.99 each. Pre-orders start August 19 through direct.playstation.com in the US, UK, and eight European countries, with select retailers carrying the accessories elsewhere. Marvel's Wolverine and its matching hardware ship September 15, the day Insomniac's PlayStation exclusive launches.
