Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is the first phone in the Galaxy S26 lineup to ship with One UI 9 and an Exynos 2500 3 nm processor, pairing an updated triple rear camera and Galaxy AI tools in a thin 7.4 mm body, per Samsung.

Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office in Samsung's Mobile eXperience business, said Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is designed around the strengths of the Galaxy S series so every feature earns its place in daily use. The company positions the phone as the S26 camera and AI package for people who already know which parts of that package they actually use.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE now carries My FanCam, first shown on the latest Galaxy foldables, which tracks a selected person and reframes video as they move. Super Steady with Horizontal Lock, already on other Galaxy S26 models, is on the FE as well. The rear stack is a 50 MP wide camera with OIS, a 12 MP ultra-wide, and an 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. The front camera is 12 MP. Nightography and Photo Assist, which edits images from natural-language prompts, round out the stills path. Gemini Omni can turn Gallery photos and clips into shareable videos for users on an eligible Google AI Pro plan; the phone includes a six-month trial.

The software brings an updated Now Brief with customizable cards, an expanded Now Nudge that can surface suggestions from selected third-party apps, and Circle to Search with Google that can query multiple items in one image. Hardware is a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel at up to 120 Hz and 1,900 nits, a typical 4,900 mAh battery that Samsung says can reach about 69 percent in around 30 minutes with a 45 W adapter sold separately, and 8 GB of RAM with 128, 256, or 512 GB of storage. The phone is IP68 rated, 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4 mm, and 193 g.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will be available starting September 4 in select markets in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio. Samsung says the device will get up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from the global launch date. An upgraded Smart Switch can move passwords, passkeys, call history, accessibility settings, and eSIM data over a QR-code wireless path from Android or iOS.
