HELLDIVERS 2 will add a Warhammer 40,000-themed Legendary Warbond on August 12, bringing weapons, armor, and cosmetics modeled on the Cadian Kasrkin faction to Arrowhead Game Studios' cooperative shooter.

Xbox detailed the crossover, called the Castellan's Creed Legendary Warbond, confirming its release date and full item list. The drop includes the R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle, the P/40-K Bolt Pistol sidearm, and the G/40-K Meltamine proximity mine, plus a Meltagun Stratagem for close-range demolition. Two armor sets ship alongside the weapons: the heavy-tier TG-122 Demo-Trooper and the medium-tier TG-8 Sharpshooter, both fitted with a True Grit passive that boosts weapon handling and support-weapon reload speed. Like HELLDIVERS 2's earlier platform tie-ins, the Xbox-themed Halo: ODST Warbond and the PlayStation-themed Killzone Warbond, the new set costs 1,500 Super Credits, a currency players earn in-game or buy separately, and its individual pieces can also be unlocked with medals earned through missions.

The Warbond also adds a camo cloak and a city fighter-themed player banner, a Castellan's Green vehicle pattern for the Shuttle, Hellpod, FRV, and Exosuit, and the player title "Still Standing." Squads can equip the new gear starting August 12 from their Destroyer's Acquisitions Panel, provided they already own HELLDIVERS 2 and have progressed far enough in the campaign to unlock Warbond purchases.

Sony Interactive Entertainment publishes HELLDIVERS 2 and Arrowhead Game Studios develops it, yet this Warbond's Xbox-hosted announcement reflects how far the live-service shooter has spread beyond its original single-platform release. The same third-party crossover content now lands across console ecosystems at once, rather than favoring one platform's marketing calendar over another, and Arrowhead now has a second major crossover license running alongside its existing Halo and Killzone collaborations.
