What separates the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA27USD and PA32USD from the wave of 4K OLED monitors already on shelves is not the panel, it is the ports. Both new displays carry 12G-SDI inputs for uncompressed video up to 4K at 60Hz, one on the 26.5-inch PA27USD and two on the 31.5-inch PA32USD, which places them in broadcast and on-set workflows rather than on a gaming desk. Each pairs that with dual Thunderbolt, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 2.1.
The panels are still the draw for color work. Both run 3840 by 2160 QD-OLED at 240Hz, with a rated 1,000-nit peak over a 3 percent window and a 1,500,000 to 1 contrast ratio. ASUS says each covers 99 percent of DCI-P3 with true 10-bit depth and ships factory calibrated to a Delta E below 1, and a built-in motorized flip colorimeter handles recalibration over time, working with the ProArt, Calman, and Light Illusion ColourSpace tools. OLED Care burn-in protection and on-display hardware calibration profiles come standard.
The pricing is where the intended buyer becomes clear. ASUS says the PA27USD arrives in May 2026 at $2,199, with a Rugged Case Edition at $2,599, and the PA32USD follows in June at $2,699, figures well above consumer QD-OLED monitors of similar resolution. The SDI inputs and calibrated color are what justify the gap for video and broadcast teams, and for anyone whose work does not touch an SDI signal chain, the same QD-OLED panel shows up in cheaper displays without it.
