ASUS ROG Swift OLED Leads a New Display Lineup at CES 2026

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN led an ASUS display lineup at CES 2026, a 34-inch 360Hz QD-OLED shown alongside ProArt monitors and the ROG XREAL R1 glasses.

ASUS opened CES 2026 by defending the lead it already holds. The company, which claims the No.1 spot in OLED monitors, used its January 6 press event in Taipei to spread that franchise across gaming, creator, and portable screens, then added the one product that is not a monitor at all: the ROG XREAL R1, a pair of gaming glasses it calls the world's first with a 240Hz micro-OLED FHD display.

The monitor headliner was the ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN, a 34-inch RGB QD-OLED running its 3440 by 1440 panel at 360Hz, with a 0.03ms response, 1000-nit peak brightness, and a BlackShield film ASUS says adds scratch resistance and deeper blacks. It anchored a line built on RGB Stripe Pixel technology, which ASUS says reduces the color fringing on text that has long been WOLED's weak point. Two 4K stablemates joined it at 240Hz, and the ProArt side brought the PA279CDV, a 4K creator display with 99 percent DCI-P3 coverage and 96W USB-C.

The XREAL R1 is the more interesting bet, because it moves ASUS off the desk. The glasses weigh 91 grams, carry a 57-degree field of view, and project a virtual screen up to 171 inches viewed from four meters, with a Control Dock for connectivity, electrochromic lens tinting, and audio tuned by Bose. A 240Hz micro-OLED panel is a real specification for a device this small, but wearable displays live or die on comfort, latency, and whether anyone reaches for them over a monitor after the first week, none of which a spec sheet settles.

ASUS gave no pricing or firm availability for the CES lineup, which keeps the glasses in demo territory for now. The monitors are the safe, incremental half of the announcement, faster refresh rates and cleaner text on a franchise ASUS already dominates. The XREAL R1 is where the company is testing whether its display expertise travels to a category it does not yet lead, and that is the product worth tracking as it moves from the show floor toward shelves. ASUS listed the complete lineup in its CES announcement.
